How to Keep Your Extensions Looking Good as New
Taking proper care of your Mermaid Hair Extensions is key to ensuing they last longer and stay looking just as glamours as the day you got them.
Brushing
- Use a wide tooth comb
- Brush before and after putting it in
- Brush starting with the bottom half of the hair and working your way up to the top elastic.
- Always hold and support the hair while brushing
- If hair is detangling often you may use a small amount of hair oil to help when brushing
Washing
- Only wash hair if necessary and visibly dirty.
- Avoiding frequent washing will help preserve your extensions.
- Use a mild shampoo and lukewarm water
- Do not rub or scrub, gently lather with shampoo
- Rinse completely with cold water
- Place extensions in water and conditioner.
- Let sit for a minute then remove and rinse again in cold water
- Pat dry and lay flat to dry completely
- Be gentle and avoid aggressively rubbing to prevent any damage to your Mermaid Hair.
Storage
- Pony Tail extensions are best to be stored in a braid and placed in the reusable bag in was purchased in to prevent tangling or damage.
- Wave and Curly extensions store in provided hair net and in the reusable bag to help prevent tangling
